www.wikipedia.org – Wikipedia Signup and Login

Wikipedia (http://www.wikipedia.org/) is a space on the web where you can share work and ideas, pictures and links. Wikipedia has started testing a new sign up page (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Special:UserLogin/signup). Creating an account and getting a personal user account in Wikipedia is quick and simple. Actually it is not necessary to log in (http://en.wikipedia.org/w/index.php?title=Special:UserLogin) before viewing or editing pages. Wikipedia doesn’t require to you to sign up for an account, it gives everything away for free. Wiki has updated the visual design to be far less cluttered and expose a clearer structure, and reduced the amount of instructional text that appears before the form. It also added a simple list of benefits to account creation, such as being able to start new pages, upload photos, and have a presence in the Wikipedia community. But these won’t appear on small screen sizes.

Wikipedia Login

Creating an user account means that you give a username and a password and also answer a visual captcha test. To login first you have make sure that your browser accepts cookies. Users should configure the browser to accept the cookies from each wiki you plan to edit. After creating an account in Wikipedia, users will have their own user page, where they can write a bit about themselves, and a user talk page where they can use to communicate with other users.
