Recently AdGooroo has published an article related to price for keywords on different search engines for the ads that are displayed related to the search keywords. The report for September states that on Google “Mesothelioma” is the highest priced keyword in US and is sold for $99.94 per click. I was really shocked to see the high price, because from my personal experience I have seen that the maximum price was just $5 per click.

According to the AdGooroo Search Engine Advertising Update report, “Mesothelioma” (Mesothelioma is a form of cancer that is caused by exposure to asbestos and is seen in people who work on jobs where they inhaled asbestos particles, or they have been exposed to asbestos dust and fiber in other ways.) is the highest-selling keyword in September on Google and the same was sold on yahoo for $60.68 in the top position. When you come to Bing, “auto insurance comparison” is the top rated keyword with $55.20 per click.

Most of the “Mesothelioma” ads on search engines are directed to lawyers websites or law firms specializing in Mesothelioma lawsuits. The word “Mesothelioma” is not yet picked on to the top on Bing says the report. The report also says that Google gives a better ROI when compared with Yahoo and Bing, but Bing has got higher conversion rates.

The report also contains other things such as “Monthly Change in First Page Advertisers”, “Share of Advertisers by Search Engine”, “Avg # Ads/Keyword (US & International)”, “Avg # Ads/Keyword (US only)”, “Average Ads Displayed Per Impression”, “Top 25 US Advertisers by Search Engine” and “Most Expensive Keywords by Search Engine”.
