All the Microsoft addicts will very soon relish the next-gen Office system, as Microsoft confirmed the release date of the new Office 2010 as May 12th 2010. Focusing on the next wave of productivity, flexibility and choice, Office 2010 will be an innovative solution that will be customer oriented. Though the Office 2010 RTM (Release to manufacture) dates has been a bit earlier, this successor of Office 2007 is certain to ravish all of us!

Along with Office 2010, Microsoft will also unleash the Microsoft SharePoint 2010 on 12th May 2010 at 11 a.m for the business customers, wherein the general public will get the productivity suite a month later. Yet to be released to manufacturing, the beta version of Office 2010 is still under testing by a small group of testers worldwide. This beta build 4734.1000-110 is not currently available for download, however users excited to have a look at the upcoming Office 2010 can download its previous version i.e., build 14.0.4536.1000.

Speculations suggest that the MSDN and TechNet subscribers might get the Office 2010 RTM bits even before the business users. If this is true, then the MSDN and TechNet subscribers will get Office 2010 by the April end or in the early May and all the other users who desire to have a hands on experience on Office 2010 and SharePoint 2010, have to anticipate until Microsoft officially releases them into the market.
