iPad Mini shipments in the fourth quarter of 2012 are estimated at 8 million units. It appears that Apple will ship significantly less iPad mini tablets in Q4 than initially predicted. According to component suppliers in Taiwan, the Cupertino giant will ship an estimated 8 million tablets in the last quarter of 2012. It seems that earlier projections about the iPad Mini selling in between 10 and 12 million units in the Holiday Q4 2012 will come true because touch panel supply could not catch up.

Apple’s iPad Mini is expected to come with 7.9 inch display. The iPad Mini display uses the same LED backlight technology as iPad to give users plenty of Zing per square inch. It is perfectly sized to work with hundreds of thousands of apps made for iPad. Users can view web pages in Safari. Users can flick through photos and can watch videos in vivid detail. It has fraction of the size at just 7.2 mm, it is pencil thin and unbelievably light. It has many built- in apps. The App store is home to over 275,000 iPad apps and counting and right from the start, they work on iPad Mini.
