Samsung Unveils Galaxy 3 (GT-I5800), Galaxy 5 (GT-I5500) and Galaxy Beam (GT-I5820)

Galaxy 3(GT-15800), Galaxy 5 (GT-15500) and Galaxy Beam (GT-15820), are the new handsets announced by Samsung the leading south Korean mobile manufacturer. All these models runs on Google Android OS. The manufacturer has assured that the three products will be released in July in Europe and Asia/Singapore.

These Galaxy phones are empowered by Google’s Android 2.1 platform and also posses TouchWiz 3.0 user interface with widgets. Some of the features are common in all the three Galaxy phones including Quad band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, dual band UMTS/HSDPA at 900/2100 MHz, Wi-Fi and Bluetooth. Further the built in GPS and the FM radio are same in three models. As per the manufacturer, Galaxy 3(GT-15800) and Galaxy 5 (GT -15500) will hit the market with limited features whereas the Galaxy Beam (GT-15820) will be released with more features as a highly placed model. The built–in pico projector in the Galaxy Beam is the key feature. However, the cameras and the touchscreens make the main difference on Galaxy 3 and Galaxy 5 from Galaxy Beam.

Galaxy 5 comes with 2.8″ attractive touchscreen display which has QVGA resolution, Bluetooth 2.1 and WiFib/g. It is also features photo snapper with photo LED. Now lets see the attributes of the model Galaxy 3, this comprise of 3.2 inch touchscreen contributing WGVGA (240*400 pixel) resolution, Bluetooth( 3.0) and WiFib/g/n. Galaxy 3 goes one step ahead and has 3MP camera with auto focus. The Beam is an Ultimate model among the three consisting 3.7″ AMOLED display and 8MP Camera with auto focus. All these models supports almost all the Google mobile service like Google Maps, Calender, Google Search with Search by voice, Gmail, Gtalk and YouTube.
