Chat From iGoogle With Google’s Video Chat for iGoogle

Google always love to bring in new features to make our life very easy. Earlier they have introduced Video Chat feature in Gmail. Now they have got the same thing for iGoogle also. The Google team has added the video chat functionality to iGoogle.

With the Video chat from iGoogle you can easily connect with your family and friends. If you had already installed the voice and video chat plugin then you do not need to install any extra plugin. But if you are a first time user you need to download the voice and video chat plugin. The plugin takes few seconds to install and is free and works with Windows XP or later and Intel Mac OS X 10.4 or later.

To initiate a video chat with your friend just click on the “Start video chat” link in the “Actions” menu at the bottom of the chat window. The good thing about this is that you can video chat with friends who don’t have Gmail accounts, all you need is a Google account. This new feature will be rolled out over the course of the next few days so.

Google is bringing in all these new features to make social networking more simple and easy. But I guess unless Google brings in a single product/service for social networking, all these features doesn’t make really much difference.
