We already know that the Limera1n exploit is available to jailbreak iOS 4.1 on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G, Apple TV and iOS 3.2.2 on iPad. Moreover the exploit is also ported to greenpois0n which is available to jailbreak iOS 4.1 on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G, Apple TV and iOS 3.2.2 on iPad. The limera1n exploit is also ported to Pwnagetool. MuscleNerd from the iPhone Dev Team has released a video which shows off the upcoming PwnageTool in action on iPad. PwnageTool is the first choice by many users as it allows you to restore your iPhone with custom cooked firmware while preserving the baseband. So you can upgrade your iPhone 4 to latest iOS 4.1 firmware without upgrading the baseband to 2.10.4. If you have iPhone 3GS you can get iOS 4.1 firmware without upgrading the baseband to 05.14.04. Once you have preserved the baseband you can use Ultrasn0w to unlock your iPhone.

We have also told you already that the updated version of PwnageTool will be available for download on Sunday. So you can spend this weekend to jailbreak and unlock iPhone 4 and iPhone 3GS. You can also use PwnageTool to jailbreak iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G and Apple TV. Users have to note that pwnagetool is available only for Mac. So if you are a Windows user you can use greenpois0n to jailbreak iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G, Apple TV and iPad. Alternatively you can wait for sn0wbreeze 2.1 for Windows that allows you jailbreak your iDevice on iOS 4.1. iH8sn0w has already confirmed that updated Sn0wbreeze will be released soon after PwnageTool for Mac is released. If you are iPhone 3G or iPod Touch 2G user then you have to rely on redsn0w.
