Written By Sam on 9 April 2010

It did not take much time for the iPhone Dev-Team to Jailbreak iPhone OS 4.0. iPhone OS 4.0 is released yesterday with features like Multitasking, Folders, Mail, iBooks, Enterprise, Game Center and iAd. The jailbreakers team managed to Jailbreak iPhone 4.0 Firmware very soon after it was announced. As we have seen earlier that there are multiple exploits to Jailbreak latest iPhone Firmware and it looks like the exploits are still working on the latest iPhone OS 4.0. Earlier we had posted about Untethered Userland Jailbreak for iPhone and iPod Touch on 3.1.3 Firmware, Jailbreakers Gaining Full Root Code Execution on iPad and Geohot Posts Decrypt Keys for 3.2 iPad Firmware. And this current iPhone OS 4.0 jailbreak tells us that the Jailbreaking tools will soon be released to Jailbreak iPhone OS 4.0, iPad 3.2 and iPhone OS 3.1.3.

Musclenerd who is a member of the iPhone Dev-Team posted a video proof which shows a VNC App running on a Jailbroken Device With iPhone OS 4.0. The video by Musclenerd clearly shows Jailbroken iPhone OS 4.0. This means that we will soon be seeing tools to Jailbreak iPhone OS 4.0. As the exploits are still open in iPhone OS 4.0, the Jailbreaking tools can also be used to Jailbreak and Unlock iPhone 3.1.3 Firmware and iPad 3.2 Firmware. iPhone OS 4.0 Jailbreak will mostly be released only after iPhone OS 4.0 is released to the end users.
