Apple iPhone 5 Leaked Images Shows Thinner Bezel and Larger Display

Written By Sam on 26 February 2011

Apple’s next generation iPhone 5 might feature a larger 4″ inch display and thinner bezel as per the purported image posted in a Chinese reseller website. The image indicates a digitizer panel for the fifth generation iPhone, which perfectly matches the existing design pattern.

Measurements of this panel are not yet revealed, but it looks much similar to the one used for iPhone 4, expect for a larger display screen space and a thinner bezel on all the sides (right, left, top, and bottom). iPhone 5’s display is expected to be a edge-to-edge 4″ display and is assumed to be impressively larger than its siblings. iPhone 5 will have a new stationary control switch bar at the bottom portion for iOS multitasking, says resources.

As per the Apple’s production lines in Asia, iPhone 5 will have a complete re-designed look and will be debuted in summer 2011. Speculations indicate Apple iPhone 5 will feature a new integrated SIM card to be easily configurable on any supported carrier. Other interesting features of iPhone 5 might include A5 chip, a new Gobi WWAN chip and support for both CDMA and GSM networks. iPhone 5 is not so far, fingers crossed!
