This is really a good news for all the iPhone lovers in India. Bharati Airtel will bring the Apple iPhone 3GS to India very soon. Recently we have heard many rumors about iPhone 3GS coming to India and the iPhone 3GS page on Airtel website confirmed the rumors. It’s sad that when people all over the World are looking for iPhone 4G, we Indians are still waiting for the iPhone 3GS. Anyways Bharti Airtel and Apple have reached an agreement to bring iPhone 3GS to India in the coming months. Even now the dates are not confirmed and for more information you can visit http://www.airtel.in/iphone3gs/

The price of iPhone 3GS in India is expected to be around 45k when you consider the price of iPhone 3G (30K) in India. But I would guess that the price of iPhone 3GS would be made around 40K along with the reduction of iPhone 3G price to 25k. With a low end model of Nexus One coming to India, the iPhone 3GS in India shouldn’t be priced very high if they are expecting a good sale.

Coming to the iPhone 3GS details, you can go for either iPhone 3GS – 16 GB in Black & White Colour or iPhone3GS – 32 GB in Black & White Colour. The handset will be available at Airtel Authorised Stores very soon and iPhone3GS on Airtel is locked to Airtel Network and will work only with activated Airtel sim card.
