Video Streaming to iPhone and iPod Touch From Windows and Mac With Air Video

You can now stream videos from your computer to your iPhone or iPod Touch with Air Video. Instead of copying the videos from your Windows or Mac Computer to iPhone, you can stream them to watch on your iPhone and iPod Touch. To stream videos to iPhone, you need to run the Air Video server on your Windows or Mac machine and use the client to stream videos on the iPhone or iPod Touch. So instead of copying videos to iPhone, you can watch them by streaming from your computer. Moreover if you have any incompatible videos they are converted on the fly to play on iPhone/iPod Touch.

To start using Air Video, you have to first install the server on your computer. Once the server is running you can add folders that you want to share. If you have videos in your iTunes playlists, you can also share those playlists. Once you are done with the server, In Air Video on your iPhone or iPod touch add your computer to server list and stream videos on your iPhone.
