Android 2.2 Froyo Ported to Run on Apple iPhone 3G

There are many enthusiasts out there who would always try to run different OS on a hardware confined to a particular OS. Now it’s time for the latest Android v2.2 (Froyo) to be ported to the Apple iPhone 3G. An enthusiastic team is successful in porting the Google’s Android OS to the iPhone 3G with some minor issues. iPhone 3G on Android 2.2 can now send SMS and can be used to make and receive calls. But there are yet some issues related to the Wi-Fi, GPU and Audio.

Earlier we have seen that Android 1.6 was ported to the iPhone 2G and 3G using the iBoot method and even the latest port is based on the same. Below is a video which shows Android 2.2 (Froyo) running on iPhone 3G.
