Here is a good news for all the iPhone, iPod Touch and iPad users who are looking to jailbreak their devices. George Hotz aka geohot has written a blog post on his site saying that he is working on a Software which will provide untethered jailbreak solution for iPhone 3GS, 3G, iPod Touch 2G, iPod Touch 3G and probably the iPad also.

The new Untethered Jailbreak Software from GeoHot works on all the current Tethered models including iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 2G and 3G. The release date of this Untethered Jailbreak Solution is not given, but I hope that this Untethered Jailbreak Tool will be released soon after the release of the Apple iPad. Moreover the Untethered Jailbreak Video meets the “Good Jailbreak Video” requirements set by iPhone Dev Team.
