After the release of iOS 6.0 Beta 1 for developers, iPhone Dev-Team has released RedSn0w for iOS 6.0 Beta 1 jailbreak. The team has released RedSn0w 0.9.13dev1 for iOS 6.0 beta 1 tethered jailbreak on GSM iPhone 4, CDMA iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS and iPod touch 4G. RedSn0w 0.9.13dev1 for iOS 6.0 beta 1 jailbreak is mainly intended for developers who are looking to test out their jailbreak apps on iOS 6.0. RedSn0w 0.9.13dev1 doesn’t support iPad 3 (New iPad), iPhone 4S and iPod 2. If you are an iPhone user and rely on jailbreak or unlock, you should stay away from the latest iOS 6.0 beta 1. The current iOS 6.0 beta 1 jailbreak with RedSn0w is intended for developers and there are too many broken components like Apple’s official apps, 3rd-party App Store apps and Cydia apps.

With RedSn0w 0.9.13dev1 for iOS 6.0 beta 1 jailbreak, Cydia will not be installed and the only access you will get to the device is through SSH or afc2. RedSn0w 0.9.13dev1 will not hactivate your iPhone and you need to be an iOS developer with a registered UDID to get past the activation screens. No new exploits are being exposed with RedSn0w 0.9.13dev1 and currently the iOS 6.0 beta 1 jailbreak is tethered. With RedSn0w 0.9.13dev1 for iOS 6.0 beta 1 jailbreak, users must point RedSn0w at your IPSW the first time you “Jailbreak” and “Just boot” tethered because that IPSW is only available to developers, and RedSn0w can’t automatically fetch the pieces it needs from it. By the time you’ve done a “Just boot” tethered jailbreak though, RedSn0w has cached all the files it needs from the IPSW and you won’t need to point RedSn0w at it any longer.
