Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 Running Android OS 1.6 Finally Announced

Finally, Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 saw its official announcement on Tuesday. The “XPERIA X10” is the manufacturer’s first Android smart phone equipped with a 1GHz Snapdragon processor from Qualcomm, 4-inch TFT screen with a resolution of 854X480 pixels and an 8.1 mega pixel camera with autofocus. It will run on Andriod OS v1.6 (codenamed Donut) and have a finger optimized home-brew UI pre-installed.


XPERIA X10 is available in Sensous Black and Luster White colors, it is a Touch screen bar phone, impressively light and extra thin with curved edges. XPERIA X10 has excellent connectivity coverage and features all contemporary means of data transfer starting from quad-band GSM/GPRS/EDGE, though 3G with HSDPA support to Wi-Fi, GPS, Bluetooth and USB.


Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 uses an interface called “UX (User Experience) platform” that would enable people to organize their contact information, social networks and personal media through a human and intuitive user experience. The 8-megapixel camera on the Sony Ericsson XPERIA X10 will have all the features you would expect from a Cyber-shot camera phone including, but not limited to, Face and smile detection and Touch focus. Sony Ericsson Xperia X10 will probably hit the market in next February.
