Synology has launched the new USB Station 2, a compact, low-power, affordable and easy to use NAS (Network Attached Storage) server, featuring plug-and-play file and print sharing, multimedia content streaming, PC-less download and low power consumption. Synology USB Station 2 is ideal for for home to small office networks running multiplatform.

Synology USB Station 2 runs on the Synology DiskStation Manager 3.0 (DSM 3.0) OS with Multitasking User Interface. Synology DiskStation Manager 3.0 takes your NAS experience to the next level. Running on Synology NAS servers, DSM 3.0 offers more robust task-handling capability, greater storage reliability, and higher productivity.
