The Chronic Dev-Team has recently released Greenpois0n jailbreak utility which can jailbreak iOS 4.1 on iPhone 4, iPhone 3GS, iPod Touch 4G, iPod Touch 3G and iOS 3.2.2 on iPad. iPhone 3G and iPod Touch 2G users were disappointed as their iDevices cannot be jailbroken with greenpois0n. But the Dev-Team has updated greenpois0n to RC 4 which brings the support for the iPod touch 2G. The latest Greenpois0n RC4 supports iPod Touch 2G, MC and Non-MC (MB) models and brings an untethered jailbreak.

The current greenposi0n jailbreak uses the limera1n exploit and sadly limera1n still doesn’t support iPod Touch 2G. So if you are iPod Touch 2G user then you can download the latest greenpois0n RC4 for Windows and Mac to jailbreak your iPod Touch 2G. Sadly Linux users still have to wait for the update to jailbreak iPod Touch 2G on Linux.
