The Chronic Dev-Team has released Absinthe v0.4, an update version of the Absinthe iOS 5.0.1 untethered jailbreak utility for iPhone 4S and iPad 2G. Absinthe v0.4 for Mac, Windows and Linux now adds support for for Mac OS X 10.5 (Intel + PPC). @pimskeks, one of the jailbreak team member tweeted – “#Absinthe 0.4 released greenpois0n.com/?p=173 – OSX 10.5 support (PPC+Intel). Re-jailbreaking not required.”.

If you are an iPhone 4S or iPad 2G user and are looking for an untethered jailbreak on iOS 5.0.1 firmware, you can use this latest version of Absinthe – Absinthe v0.4. But if you have already untethered jailbroken your iPhone 4S or iPad 2G, then you do not require to do it again.
