Do you want to try out Android but cannot get an Android G1 or HTC Magic mobile? Then LiveAndroid is at your rescue. LiveAndroid is a LiveCD for Google Android OS which runs on x86 platforms. If you don’t feel like buying a T-Mobile then LiveAndroid will allow you to download a LiveCD disc image of the Google Android OS and run it on your computer. You just have to burn the image to a disc and run it directly without any installation. You can also use the Android disc image in a virtualization application like VirtualBox, VMWare or Microsoft Virtual PC if you want to try the operating system without even rebooting your computer.

LiveAndroid, a LiveCD for Android is ported based on eee_701 Android OS, modified the system/core/init, recompiled the kernel with aufs and sqsquashfs support to smaller size. Liveandroid v0.2 is based on android cupcake 1.5. The image size of LiveAndroid is just 85MB. So download it and try out Android on your computer.
