Sharp Forays into Indian Market with Four Mobiles – Blink, Cyborg, Alice and Tango

Sharp, mobility market leader in Japan has forayed into the potential Indian market with four new stylish looking mobile handsets – Blink, Cyborg, Alice, and Tango. Aimed at the Youth segment of India, these Sharp handsets range from 6,500 to 18,000 and encompasses many enticing features designed especially for the Indian consumers.

Sharp’s new phones Blink, Cyborg and Tango posses clamshell form factors, whilst Alice is a responsive touch phone. Integrated with social networking services, Sharp’s new handsets include high-res LCD screens and impressive cameras. Blink is a dual SIM phone with LED illumination, and a 2MP camera which costs around Rs. 6,500 and Alice, a full touch screen mobile phone comes with front stereo speakers, 3MP camera, and G-sensor.Priced Rs.8,500, Alice will be available in red and black colors.

Cyborg and Tango are costly phones with high-resolution displays that costs around Rs. 17,000 and Rs. 18,000 respectively. Cyborg is a clamshell phone that comes with a rotating (‘Cycloid’) display and a 3.2MP camera whilst available in gold, white, and pink colors Tango is a clamshell 180-degree swivel touchscreen with a G sensor, pedometer, and 5MP camera. Cyborg will be available in green, blue and white colors.
