Reliance Spruces Up its VAS Offering With User Generated Caller Tunes

Scores of companies worldwide are using to user-generated content to their advantage, including Reliance Communications’ latest caller tune service. This service will allow subscribers to record their unique content using a Tune Maker platform and even set it as a caller tune. The good thing is these tunes can also be shared with other Reliance customers.

Launched in association with VAS provider Atruist, Reliance’s new service will enable such voice-based content to be shared and set as caller tunes. Users will also be able to edit, create and link the content, besides using it as a caller tune. Reliance customers on all networks — CDMA, GSM and 3G — will be able to avail of this service.

Interested users may log on to the company’s website – – or use its Interactive Voice Response to get to the service. Web users will need to go the website to choose caller tunes of their choice. IVR customers need to call 56694400 to submit a 30-second recording, which they can set as their caller tune. Here are the subscription details:

  • Tune renewal charges Rs 5 each
