Nvidia Tegra 2 3D With 3D Display and Tegra 3 1.5Ghz Quad-Core Smartphone CPU With Blu-ray Video Coming Soon!

Nvidia, most popular multinational company based in Santa Clara is all set to make its benchmark in the most booming 3D industry by introducing its Tegra 2 3D processors in Mobile World Congress( MWC). This leap of Nvidia to introduce the 3D imbibed Tegra 2 processors certainly projects the foray of 3D technology in the smartphone and mobile arena paving the way for stereoscopic 3D gaming, enchanting user interfaces and impressive graphics.

Reports indicate that Nvidia will unveil Tegra 2 3D processor, a 1.2 GHz dual-core SoC intended for smartphones and tablets designed with 3D screens in MWC. Using ARM Cortex A9 cores, and the new SOC ( System-On-Chip) makes Tegra 2 3D processor to stand out of the crowd. Offering 5520 MIPS, these processors are intended for use in mobile gadgets featuring a 3D screen. The production of the Tegra 2 3D processors are anticipated to start in Q1 of this year.

We might soon see smartphones running on Quad Core processors as well. Nvidia’s Tegra 3 Quad Core Cortex A9 1.5 Ghz CPU with 3x faster graphics, BluRay video, 1900×1200 display is estimated to be available during the fall of 2011. If this configuration turns true, then smartphones and tablets possessing this config could certainly be called the true desktop replacements and upcoming as well as existing 3D tablets, iDevices, Nitendo 3DS consoles will have to face a tough challenge. So let’s wait until Fall 2011, and see how things turn out!
