But is it worth spending $539 for Nexus One? May be/May not be! The guys over at iSuppli tears down the Nexus One and says that Nexus One Carries $174.15 Materials Cost.

Though Nexus One materials cost $174.15, its just the cost of the plain hardware and doesn’t consider other things. But there are lot more things to be spent on to bring such a powerful Superphone into the market. Apart from the hardware there are many other things like research, software, marketing, manufacturing, accessories that needs to be considered in the final price. The expensive part among all the hardware is the 1GHz Snapdragon Processor which costs $30.50.
