HTC Desire Z Features QWERTY Keyboard, 5MP Camera With HD Video and HTC Fast Boot
HTC, the pioneer manufacturer of smartphones has unveiled another Android based handset called HTC Desire Z in its launch event. Desire z will be a stylish Slider phone with a pop out QWERTY keypad. Like the popular T-Mobile G2, Desire z’s pop out keypad will include user assigned keys and system-wide shortcuts for launching apps at an ease.
Incorporating user-friendly interface, Desire z runs on 800MHz Qualcomm MSM7230 processor that provides and pumps data efficiently HSPA+ and 802.11n. Loaded with HTC’s enhanced Sense UI and new HTCSense.com services, HTC Desire Z provides variety of enhancements in accessing multimedia content, watching HD videos as well as in managing services.
Features of Desire z include 3.7-inch QVGA screen, 5MP camera with auto focus and flash, HTC Sense UI, HTC Smart Boot and many more. Due to lack of hardware specs, HTC Desire Z might slightly fall back whilst competing with Nokia’s E7. However, running on the latest Android 2.2 (Froyo) makes HTC Desire Z more unique. Though the price details of Desire z is not yet known, Desire z might be available in North America soon after its release in European and Asian market in October 2010.
