HP Unveiled HP Veer – Smallest webOS Smartphone With 5MP Camera, 800 MHz Processor, 8GB Storage and Wi-Fi

HP, the world’s largest technology company has unveiled a new smartphone called “HP Veer”. Running on webOS Operating system, Veer is HP’s smallest webOS handset until date. Amazingly, HP’s Veer is as small as a credit card and no thicker than a deck of cards says the sources.

Though small in size, HP Veer includes all the features that users would anticipate from a smart phone. Features of Veer include a full slide-out QWERTY keyboard that provides easy messaging capabilities, easy access to social networking, support for Adobe Flash Player 10.1, and Flash based web content and many more. Allowing users to access many webOS applications available, Veer includes with HP Synergy, that brings together information from multiple sources across the web automatically, an exclusive for webOS devices as well.

Other features of HP Veer includes support for more powerful charging technique through HP TouchStone (sold separately), easy access to webOS App Catalog and various applications in it, 8 GB of internal storage capability, a 5-mega-pixel camera with geotagging , Multimedia options, video recording and USB mass storage mode to transfer media files easily.

Along with Veer, HP also announced HP Pre and HP TouchPad. The pricing and release date of these gadgets are not revealed.
