Swype Final Beta for Android Mobiles Available For Download to Everyone!

Written By Sam on 16 June 2010

Earlier we had written about Swype Beta which was available to Android users. Sometime back Swype Beta was closed and recently Swype was updated with some major bug fixes which hints us that the final version of Swype will be available very soon. For those of you who haven’t heard about “Swype“, it enables users to input words at over 50 Words per minute, with one continuous finger or stylus motion across the screen keyboard.

Until now Swype needs a user registration to be installed on to the device and being a beta version, this registration expires after 3 months. But according to TechCrunch, the company will be releasing Swype to everyone who loves to try it out. It looks like even this final release will still be a Beta version. Swype features built-in dictionaries for English and Spanish, and supports phones with HVGA and WVGA resolutions.
