Verizon iPhone 4 Slightly Different From Other iPhones, Doesn’t Fit in Many Existing iPhone 4 Cases

Verizon Wireless customers will get their designated iPhone for their favorite carrier. Yes, the much awaited Verizon iPhone 4 will soon be available. Although the handset seems pretty similar to the Apple’s AT&T iPhone, but it does have few differences in its built. Many of the existing accessories, iPhone Cases may not fit the Verizon handset and users have to be keen whilst purchasing them.

Verizon’s iPhone 4 comes withe minor physical changes, unlike emphasized by Apple and Verizon in the Verizon’s big media event. These changes include antenna design change repositioning the gaps between the multiple external antennas of the handset and a change in the position of the phone’s Ring/Silent switch, which now moved slightly closer to the bottom of the handset. Due to these physical changes thousands of iPhone cases and many other accessories like battery packs and strands that wrap around phone’s edges, iPhone skins, etc available out there will not be compatible with this Verizon iPhone.

Customers need not worry, as this change will hopefully be implemented by the product manufacturers and vendors may retool the existing ones too very soon. Reports say, the market will soon see nine new cases compatible for the Verizon iPhone 4 in upcoming weeks. iPhone cases with left-hand side controls may still be compatible with the Verizon iPhone. However, be keen while purchasing cases and accessories for your iPhone 4, especially if you are owner of a Verizon one!
