Written By Sam on 1 April 2010

Apple released the iTunes 9.1 version with some improvements in various sections which are mainly aimed at the iPad. But the update also caused some sync issues for users who used blackra1n to jailbreak iPhone on 3.1.2 Firmware. But luckily iH8Sn0w has fixed the issues with blackbreeze. BlackBreeze is a simple Windows based tool to fix iTunes 9.1 issues with Tethered Jailbreak of iPhone 3.1.2.

iH8Sn0w’s BlackBreeze will solve issues with iTunes 9.1 and makes blackra1n again work with 3.1.2 firmware. The syncing issues are experienced by Windows users using blackra1n jailbreak.

Procedure to Fix iTunes 9.1 And Blackra1n Incompatibility

  • Download blackbreeze from iH8Sn0w
  • Download blackra1n RC3 if you haven’t downloaded it earlier.
  • Start blackbreeze.exe and click on “Fix my ra1n!” button and select blackra1n.exe. Blackbreeze will now fix the blackra1n RC3.
  • Select the directory where the fixed blackra1n should be stored. Blackbreeze will fix blackra1n and will create a new file called “blackra1n-fixed.exe
  • You can now use this blackra1n-fixed.exe file to Jailbreak iPhone.
