HP Unveiled New TouchPad Boasting webOS, 1.2GHz Processor, Video Calling and Support For Adobe Flash

Few months back, the world’s largest technology company, HP take over Palm.Inc, the provider of webOS mobile operating system. And today HP is all set to launch its powerful tablet featuring webOS. Yes you heard it right! HP announced TouchPad, a vibrant 9.6-inch diagonal tablet that boasts webOS along with many impressive features for every one’s delight.

HP TouchPad contains all that a customer expects says the sources. Sporting a virtual keyboard this tablet supports Adobe Flash 10.1 beta for browser and features plenty of webOS applications as well. Increasing the mobile productivity, TouchPad is designed in such a way that users will never regret missing a call or SMS whilst the user interactive controls makes things easily accessible too. The HP Synergy feature lets user simply sign in to social networking sites like Facebook, LinkedIn and access Google, Microsoft Exchange, Yahoo accounts without much effort. Supporting multi-tasking and Flash, HP TouchPad also has Dropbox, Box.net for cloud file storage, which makes it unique from the existing tablets.

TouchPad also allows users to rejoice intense 3D games which is certainly impressive. This tablet includes a 1.3 megapixel camera which is quite letting down, however, its support for multi media files, Wifi connectivity, Built-in HP Touchstone technology (HP Touchstone for TouchPad is sold separately) for easy charging and HP touch-to-share feature that makes sharing web addresses between TouchPad and compatible webOS phones feasible makes this tablet worthy trying. HP TouchPad to hit markets in summer, so we have wait until then! The price and availability are not yet revealed.
