Asus P7P55D-E and P7P55D Motherboards With USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s

ASUS announced about it’s new P7P55D-E and P7P55D series of motherboards, the very first motherboards with USB 3.0 and SATA 6Gb/s connectivity. With the in-built Intel’s P55 chipset, the two motherboards are compatible with socket LGA 1156-ready Core i5 and Core i7 processors. The two mother boards uses ASUS’s hybrid OS, hybrid processor and hybrid phase technologies for faster overall performance

According to the technical specs of the new P7P55D-E motherboard, you will really enjoy to work and the computing performance altered by the most modern Core i7 and Core i5 processors, and also future Core i3 CPUs in addition. The two boards come with support for two PCI-Express graphics slots, dual-channel DDR3 1600MHz memory modules, a 48 Hybrid Phase power design and a wide range of ports, CrossFireX and SLI technologies.


The P7P55D-E Premium Motherboard features one Ultra DMA, 2 SATA 6Gb/s, 6 SATA 3Gb/s ports and eSATA. The board also has two 1394a, two USB 3.0 ports and 10 USB 2.0 ports. Additionally, the company will also provide the U3S6 Expansion Card, which offers users with 2 SATA 6Gb/s ports with support for up to 2 SATA hard drives, and also 2 USB 3.0 ports.

The card is compatible with a x8 or x16 slot, PCIe x4 and will be made available for the following motherboards: Maximus III Formula, P7P55D Deluxe, P7P55D PRO, P7P55D EVO, P7P55D LE, P7P55D and P7P55D LX. It is also packed with 2 SATA 6Gb/s cables, a technical support CD and a User manual. The P755D-series motherboards will be shipped with Windows 7 drivers.
